Pablo Extremera-Navas
Pablo is a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at the Royal London Hospital and Newham University Hospital. His main interests are Respiratory, Ultrasound and Education. Pablo is a FUSIC supervisor for the heart module and a mentor for Lung US.
In 2016, Pablo completed his Intensive Care Medicine training in Madrid, Spain. Since then, he’s been running a voluntary project at the Mnazi Mmoja Hospital, Zanzibar, Tanzania. He spends his spare time training the local medical staff and recruiting volunteers to join the project. He finds it very rewarding to see how the local doctors and nurses develop their medical skills through training and is very enthusiastic about supporting this process through continuous bedside teaching.
